Spring Dawn

 "After completing such large works, I wanted to go to the opposite end of the spectrum."

While pregnant with her first child, Kim spent some time going back to her roots with Prismacolor pencils.  The texture opened new opportunities for color exploration.  She began a series of four smaller landscapes to cover the four seasons at different times of day.
